Post canon fic about Robert managing to convince everyone on the Z-Team he’s a Beta until they catch him red handed.
“This is fucking stupid.” He says, aggravated.
“No it fucking ain’t you suicidal prick.” Chase snaps back at him. The older man is definitely angrier than he’d been a few hours ago, far more irritated compared to when he’d first shown up at Roberts crumbling apartment unannounced.
“Yes it fucking is!” He snaps right back. “I don’t need to be doing this.”
“Robert please, it’s not going to fucking kill you.” Chase amps up again, they’d been going back and forth for the last 2 and a half hours. Doing the same spiel for every piece of cloth Robert picked from the big, corporate bag of nesting shit sent to him by SDN.

Summary
That was the way Flambae usually liked it. He likes mouthing off and being shown his place, he likes being given consequences for his actions, he likes fucking around and finding out.
It makes no sense that Robert put him down without so much as a fight. That Flambae went down for the man who he thought ruined submission for him.
But when Robert told him to listen, what else was Flambae supposed to do?
Or; Flambae would rather set it ablaze with his own two hands than be caught unawares by a stray spark. Robert's steady hands are perfect for striking a match.

However after encountering a hero with an unusual power, Chad finds himself teleported to an Alternate universe where he finds his formerly brown eyed hero of a husband was now a villain.

Summary
One of the main characters - the only surviving witness to a murder - has just woken from a coma. Not only is she entirely cognizant, but the first thing that the subtitles say she asks for is a lawyer.
“What are you fucking giggling about?”
The other person that’s been paying attention is Flambae. He’s right next to Robert on the couch, his arm slung over the top behind his head. One foot is propped up on the other knee, also pointing towards Robert, which has him caged in the corner by the arm rest. It’s probably some fucked-up power move. Robert has been ignoring it just to spite him.
“It’s just not how comas work,” Robert shrugs.
“Right, and you know because you’re a fucking doctor,” Flambae quips back.
“I know because I was in one, asshole.”

During a quiet night in, Robert realizes that his coma and injuries aren't common knowledge among Z-Team.
Most of them take the information in stride with jokes aplenty.
Flambae does not.

“I hear you’re cursed,” Poseidon says, and Odysseus is relieved that he didn’t have to be the one to start this conversation.
“I am,” he supplies with a nod.
“And what kind of curse did the titaness manage to wrap you up in?” He sounds bored. He probably is, but any good head of house would make sure his new prisoner isn’t spreading something that’s contagious.
Odysseus steels himself. “It’s a punishment for avoiding sex,” he explains, miraculously concise.
“What?” The room shakes.

In which Polyphemus doesn't fall in front of the cave entrance, and thus Odysseus doesn't have to blind him. He never evokes Poseidon's ire.
Odysseus still has the worst luck in all of ancient Greece, however, and winds up on Ogygia for six years anyway.
So, when the king of Ithaca is injured falling through Charybdis' teeth, Poseidon has no reason not to assist. Zeus' gentle persuasion helps, too.
