Sam wasn’t sure what it was that set him off this way; he was starting to wonder if there even was a specific trigger, or if Dean’s mind was just so far gone that there was no longer even a semblance of rhyme or reason. Whatever it was, it didn’t change the fact that Dean was standing at the foot of his bed in the dead of night with a gleam in his eyes that sent Sam’s gut rolling.
