  Summary

  Anger would stew in his chest every time he would watch her dismiss Trin at work, covering up with a cool lie she would pretend to believe. He could feel his heart break watching her check her phone every half an hour, desperate for a text from the flaky senior resident. He stopped finding her snarky comments funny, because nothing was funny when his best friend roommate cried in her room one night after a fight. He didn’t know when, and he didn’t know how, but he knew one day her karmic debt would be paid, and Dennis wanted to be one to collect.
