Summary
Two years ago abilities had been eradicated from the world, leaving those who had gifts before completely powerless. Some people were content with keeping it this way, and some people had just accepted the situation for what it was. But some people couldn’t let it go, and searched constantly for a way to get their powers back.
Atsushi was one of those people, and it irritated Akutagawa to no end. Of course he wanted Rashoumon back — but running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off like the weretiger was wasn’t going to do anything.
But of course, he couldn’t keep his business out of Atsushi’s for long — which is how he wound up where he was. Stuck, on the metro, with only his mortal nemesis for company. All because Atsushi was sure he had figured out the way to get their powers back this time. Oh, and did he mention that said mortal nemesis went and got himself lethally wounded? While they’re, oh, trapped on a train with no medical supplies and no abilities?OR
SSKK get trapped on a train together and have to both figure out how to escape AND get everyone their abilities back. Spoiler alert - they might have to kiss and make up first.

She grabbed Kim Dokja’s other hand. He made a soft sound: if Han Sooyung was writing this scene, she’d describe it as a mix of a wince and a whimper. She peered at his flushed face. “How long has it been? Wow, you haven’t touched anyone for hundreds, or thousands of years maybe.” She watched Yoo Junghyuk’s hand on Kim Dokja’s flex, at that. Holding Kim Dokja’s hand tighter.

“Do you want an egg with breakfast?” The man asks, leaning further into the room, wearing an apron the same revolting green as Yoo Joonghyuk's pants, also portraying the same dancing pineapples.
He’s most certainly in hell.
Yoo Joonghyuk wakes up after dying in his 1,863rd regression, except he's not on subway cabin 3707.
Instead, he's somehow in Kim Dokja's apartment. Of course, he thinks he's in hell.
