(Note: this story hasn’t been updated in literally years and idk if I’ll ever go back to it, but I want to! High school spun me for a loop and college is hard af but I really want to continue or rewrite this story entirely, so I might ;w;)

I am now actively planning how to write this fic. I always had the loosest outline of a JohnDaveKat series I wanted to make out of this, since I started writing it in the first place. After a lot of thinking about it I finally logged back into AO3, and noticed how there is one chapter of this in the drafts, so I am more tempted now to simply continue from where I left off, but... I still might want to rewrite it. It has been like a decade since I wrote this originally and my writing has changed and improved. Eventually I'll either post a new chapter on this or I'll link the new version in another update "chapter" just so everyone who may have read this before and liked it can find it! If I don't.. then, sorry, I have ADHD lol -

His brother is abusive and short-tempered and just terrible when he's drunk, but when Dave is drunk, he's mostly just goofier, and less poised, and perfect in a way that you can't describe properly without getting all fuddled up in the idea that you just love him so much.
And Drunk Dave will tell you he loves you, too.
