“This is stupid!” Perona announces as soon as they’re back at the dock. She doesn’t even wait for the boat to stop before she clamors out. “I hate this! I hate you! My nails are ruined! I have blisters! Your dumb boat is too small and it’s ugly!”
She stomps off before jumping into the air, intending to fly the rest of the way back to the castle. Her shriek echoes through the trees, scattering birds and humandrills alike.
OR: Mihawk is tired of being the only one capable of getting supplies off the island, so he decides to instruct Perona and Zoro on how to sail his ship so they can do it instead. Of course, nothing goes as planned.

A very good take on Mihawk’s character and his POV. It just feels so in character.
Summary:
Mihawk teaches Perona and Zoro how to sail - cue bickering, Mihawk trying to teach but realising he’s not a good teacher, Mihawk caring in his little ways, and how the trio finds a way to fit together. -

This is so sad it will break your heart a million times but it’ll be worth it because it’s a happy ending. It worth the journey. Author has such a way with words that you’re hooked on.
Summary with spoilers:
Harry is an Auror and Draco is in the ministry Law. Harry accidentally touches a ring that took him to a parallel universe where he and Draco were married and lived that life for 7 years only to come back to his actual world where him and Draco were colleagues at best. They messed around a bit but it gets sad because Draco felt like Harry was in love with another version of him. Cue the fights and pining and so much love in between.It’s a good hurt/comfort, angst w HE.

spy-AU need i say more hahah author is so well-versed in espionage that it feels so real! I love how it blends in parts of canon into this AU too didnt know i needed this fic but now i cant live without it
summary (spoilers!):
CIA!Alex and MI6!Henry having to work together and are annoyingly efficient so theyre paired up more and eventually got to know each other past their covers. Cue honeypots (becoming my fav spy trope...), jealousy, Alex attempting to break into MI6 LOL, burn notices, injuries. Last 2 chapters were *chef kiss* with the perfect blend of injury/angst but HE so all's good! -

the love is so palpable it makes you believe in love again! It's 35k words but it felt like a whole novel with the journey the writer takes you through.
summary:
Henry is shot and almost didn't make it. Alex is a mess and tries his best but the self-blame gets to him. The recovery journey isn't easy - Henry has trouble breathing, he has to relearn how to walk, he's hard on himself for not being able to be the same as before; Alex suffers from nightmares, runs away as a coping mechanism, and self-destructs when the worries of not being good enough gets to him - but through it all, these 2 boys find each other and choose love over and over again.Reread as reminder that love is real.
