It had been an accident that they had even discovered just far Maman’s gift could go. Maurice had been handsome, Verso very lonely. The next day the man had been skewered by a Lancelier, but the wound had closed as soon as the spear pulled out. The second jab he was less fortunate, but had managed to deflect it to a severe slice that still had cut down to his ribs.
He’d also hurled the Lancelier across a ravine. Even the pride of years of honing his muscles melted away as his companions gaped in awe at the feat. His strength waned by the end of the day, and he’d barely managed to find Verso again to ramble as if possessed, begging him to give him more strength.
And, well, the sex had been fantastic and Verso had still been horny, so the theory was tested. And tested. And tested again with another expeditioner. The results spoke for themselves, but it was hard work fucking an entire expedition.
