  1. Summary

Fics about my alt, Grishild Wyght, as they fit into the canonical timeline.

Grishild had her first Echo vision tanking at Carteneau (not among the adventurers, but in the very mundane military). She lost her squadron, her lover, and her right eye while she was unaware of the current century, and is now very firmly retired and runs a tavern and she would really, really like to be left alone to go fishing, if the Ascians and the Garleans would just get the message.

  2. Summary

Fics about my alt, X’majha Linh, as they fit into the canonical timeline.

Majha grew up near the Gyr Abanian border of the Black Shroud and has been a conjurer her whole life, though she didn’t receive training in it until she left for Gridania when she got a new nunh she didn’t like. She exists in a shared timeline with two friends’ alts and an AU version of a third friend’s main.

  3. Summary

Fics about my main WoL, Frydlona Merlgeimwyn, as they fit into the canonical timeline.

Frydlona is a crafter/gatherer main who left La Noscea to have a little cottage in the woods with a garden, and somehow keeps getting asked to kill gods. It’s fine. She’s handling it.

  4. Summary

Fics about my alt, Helenne de Fiermont Frossard, as they fit into the canonical timeline.

Helenne is the youngest child of the Baron and Baroness de Fiermont (or is she?), born and raised in western Coerthas. Her family lost nearly all their wealth and most of their social status in the Calamity, and Helenne fled a bad situation for Limsa Lominsa, at high speed. She is here to have fun, read forbidden literature, and help save the world.

    Summary

This is a live example of how an author can create linked footnotes in their work with only a little bit of HTML and no workskins required. This is best viewed by clicking "Entire Work". While I've included the actual coding in bold and italic once you click "Hide Creator's Style", there's a more detailed explanation here.

EDIT 6/28/17: The third chapter now shows how to use anchor links as an index/table of contents.

    Summary

Type in colour, make pesterlogs, and more by following the provided instructions.

I know there already is a public workskin for Homestuck, but this one has a background function and a function for the larger command font.

Updated Apr 2024 to clarify some instructions (and also update them according to various layout changes) and to alter the CSS to use percentage widths instead of fixed widths (in order to improve the mobile reader's experience). The Courier New font seems to dislike certain mobile browsers, but I've yet to find a fix for it.

Absolutely blessed guide to how to make not just this (very flexible) site skin, but ANY site skin, do a thing you need it to.
