Ex-yakuza Katsuki Yuuri adjusts to his new life in America and slowly heals. His biggest worries are now paying for his cigarettes and whether or not he should buy another fan for the living room.
__________The bell rings when he opens the door and the man at the counter, the store owner, greets him. Yuuri likes him, he’s nice and always asks how Yuuri’s doing. He once confessed to Yuuri that he was convinced that he and Victor were gang members, (the bratva or yakuza, or some weird multi-ethnic crossover of a gang). Until that one time when Victor disarmed and restrained a robber holding him at gunpoint for the cash in his register, while Yuuri called the cops. Victor had flashed him his interpol badge and told him he had everything under control, that he was trained, and gave him that that 6000 megawatt smile as if he wasn't restraining a grown man against the floor. Yuuri didn't tell him he was half right about the yakuza thing.
Since then, he’d been giving Yuuri all his cigarettes for free, no matter how many times Yuuri tried to argue he should pay for them.
