Summary
"Uh… hey kid?" he speaks, not exactly as threatened as the boy was towards him.
The words alone seem to snap the boy out of his fear. Suddenly looking curious, he lowers his sword and tilts his head.
"Who are you? Are you another ghost?" he asks.
"I'm, um… Just some guy. Sorry about breaking into your house though."
"Woah."
Disarmed, the boy puts his sword back into the chest, eyes brightening up as he took another look over Z's appearance. He hops towards him, cheerfully extending his hand towards Z.
"It's okay, my name is Micha! I'm sorry for pointing a sword at you too. I thought you were a skeleton." Micha giggles, the previous fright on his expression having been washed away.
In which Z finds a very peculiar boy haunting his dreams.

Summary
"Why are you so attached to that thing anyway?" He says, speaking like a disappointed parent. "It's insufferable, immature and defective. You'd have a better time getting your organs ripped out."
The boy's hand shifts towards the handle of the gun, yanking it forward and forcing their proximity. Z stays silent, helpless as he stares into the other's eyes. They're empty, milky white with pitch black pupils poked into the center; an uncanny imitation of life.
"Come on. I'll show you what real fear is. If only you'd let me in…"
Z has a nightmare. Or at least he hopes he does.

Summary
The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Summary
When Temenos finds Crick dying, blood stark red against the snow, he can’t help but feel it is a sin of his own doing, a punishment for revealing the dark, wicked truth of the Sacred Guard to him.
Crick, meanwhile, grapples with his failures as a knight that ultimately led him astray yet again and questions whether he is truly worthy of staying by Temenos’s side.
What they fail to realize is that their journeys are best traversed together, bringing light into each other’s lives until nothing is cast in the shadow of doubt.
