Astarion shifted at his side, pressing lips to Gale’s cheeks. The human let his eyes ease open. He couldn’t see much in the darkness, just the gleam of Astarion’s dark eyes and the lightness of his hair. He could feel when Astarion moved his hands to cradle Gale’s head, dextrous fingers combing through unruly brown hair. “What’s keeping you up then? I hope not me.”
Gale smiled at him, letting his eyes close again at the sensation of fingers massaging his scalp. “It would be a joy to remain awake always in your presence. It would prevent me from missing a moment of your beauty.”

Summary
Kabru finds his eyes glued to the video. Most people who defend monsters online, he’s found, know shit about them. They live in sheltered cities, far away from any actual dungeons, and the closest they’ve come to seeing a real monster is in an Elven-made VR game. They’ve never died from a basilisk’s fangs in their throat.
But this guy seems different.
Kabru taps over to the comment section of the video. Normally he avoids them, but this might actually be relevant to his research.
