I speedran through this series
like, literally, I spent the whole Friday doing nothing but reading it and sacrificed like 12 hours of sleep to glide through it throughout the last few days- - - - - - -
one of the gems!!! found only a few pages of works in
the plot, the universe, the worldbuilding, the characters: impeccable
the slowest of slow burns - their first kiss happens long after 200,000 words of action ( ?!?!?!?! )
the darkest of dark themes, and although it had hurt a lot, I only cried once because of emotions and hope ( the end of the second book )
impossible to pull away from - even though I felt like some parts were unnecessarily dragged out, it gave the whole a more real feeling, because some things just can't be solved easily and quickly
I haven't really been attempting works longer than 100,000 words lately, so I was a bit worried I won't be able to get enough motivation to continue reading, when I saw that plot didn't get resolved within the first book ( H and L hadn't even met more than, like, thrice ), but I got surprisingly immersed in the action, so that hadn't been a problemreal great work with this one, Author, you have my approval
I am waiting impatiently for the next chapters to come!!!!! ( but art takes time, so don't rush if you can't! :) )[ edit 26/11/24: wowowwow after 400,000 words Louis finally got the permission to call Harold by 'Harry', what is life ]

or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).

Walking back home alone at night can be pretty dangerous. You can run into some drunk men, get mugged or maybe kidnapped. Hell, you can even find one of city's most dangerous supervillains bleeding out in the alleyway, accidentally turn your life 180 degrees and get yourself a new family! You never know

cool superheros/superpowers universe, a lot of drama and different injuries, a few (near) death experiences, but also sweet family moments
makes me want to drink coffee and try out tea with milk (is it really good??)
[ edit 13/07/23: I tried it out like, two months ago and it's pretty good, even though my stomach doesn't always enjoy it ]
[ edit 01/01/25: tea with a splash of milk is my go-to tea now! love it ]
