Summary
Whatever he was expecting, it was not what he saw when he finally reached his General. Kenobi was standing in the middle of a spacious cave, illuminated by a blueish light radiating from hundreds of little crystals that grew all around the cave. Cody saw enough holos of the Crystal Caves on Ilum to recognise kyber crystals.
The General turned around and walked further into the cave, jumping around boulders and shiny crystals with unnatural ease. The General obviously had a target in mind because he didn't stop, his brown robes flying around his body with each jump. After a moment, the General slowed down, perched on a little rock ledge. Carefully, he reached out to a nest of shining crystals.
“Sir, don’t-” before Cody could finish that sentence, Kenobi touched the crystal.

The powers that be seemed to think that putting him and the rest of the Guard in some holo was the best way to work up some civilian sympathy. Well, at least there was no way his day could get any worse...

Summary

But adapting means Obi-wan must face some hard truths about himself, Anakin, and the Order as they knew it. The results will change the fate of the galaxy, forever.

His students don’t seem to realise it’s a mistake. His students seem determined to sneak their essays onto his desk. They’re collaborating. They’re utilising the skills they’ve been taught. To them, the stakes are real. They don’t know they’re not breaking any rules. They don’t know Shouta is already awake.
It’s a perfect way to assess their progress in a way he simply can’t replicate in a classroom. A logical ruse in the making.
