Summary
Jaskier’s sloped shoulders stiffened, his head raising as his hands stilled. There was a tiny moment where Geralt wasn’t sure if he was going to say anything at all. “Geralt,” he said eventually, voice stronger than Geralt’s had been.
Geralt opened his mouth, but no sound came out. He cleared his throat, shifted his stance. “I need you,” he said, letting his genuine desperation seep into his voice.
Jaskier’s head bowed. His hands clutched the edge of the table. “You need me,” he repeated, each word deliberate.(VERY short one-shot inspired by the titular prompt)
