“She was busy,” busy his ass, she just dropped all of her responsibilities on him. The man in front of him just hummed, his voice low and deep, and he extended a hand across the table. “I’m Kim Dokja, her editor.”
“Kim Dokja,” the man said afterwards, as if tasting his name on his tongue, then he took the outstretched hand between his own, letting Kim Dokja feel the smooth leather of his gloves. “My pleasure to work with you.”
