"What is all this?" she asks, closing the door behind her.
Her curiosity makes her reach into the box. It is full of folded paper.
"Aputi found them in Fagin's things yesterday," he says as she pulls one out.
She knows what is in her hand even before she turns it over, seeing Jack's name in her own handwriting just makes it true.
Pulling out another, it is the same, another one of her letters.
Spoilers for Season 2Somewhere in Fagin's warehouse, her letters to Jack have all been kept in a grey hatbox.

They've finally made it home.
After some celebrations, Shirley and Knox are back at his place, safe with all the privacy and time they'd been lacking. Somethings are very normal, they have get up for work in the morning for example, but other things, new things and old things and things that are going to become bits of their lives, most of that pretty much starts right now.Chapter 2
"Hey," she says as she shifts off of him before standing, "Come with me."She watches him realize what's happening, then he rises after taking her offered hand, laughter in his chest as she starts walking them backwards.
"Inviting me into my own bed?" he asks, his amusement clear in every word.
She nods and breathes. "Yes. Do you have some sort of problem with that?" she teases, and suddenly he's cradling her face, and massaging up her jaw with his thumbs, and she lets herself relax into the feeling. It's so incredibly soothing.
"Never," he answers after a few moments, as he rocks his thumbs just past the joint, slightly higher, under her ears, pulling a needy moan from her lips.
He's grinning as he leans in to kiss her.

"Morning," Jules yawns, but he can hear the hint of amusement in her voice.A tired, "Hey Jules," is her reply.
"I came to see if you wanted a deputy to bring us breakfast," she says slowly, "but that is not very important anymore."
There's a pause before Shirley answers, asking, "What are you talking about?" now sounding much more awake.
Suddenly, he can feel himself being watched by both of them, so he concentrates on keeping his breathing slow and even.
"Right," Shirley says, and he can hear the smile in her voice.
After they took control of the Silo

Summary
Everyone's a little broken. The edges not quite as smooth as they once were, pieces missing, carved out.
There's no way around that. Life does that to a person.
The person you love shouldn't want to fix or put you back together.
They should want their broken edges to meet yours and find a comfortable fit, for their souls to dovetail with yours and find something new about themselves, about you in the process. Something that strengthens you both.
