“I have fought all manner of creatures in space. You are no monster,” the knight replies firmly. He sounds a little offended, even.
Yakumo shakes his head. “How can you say that?”
Tentatively, the knight reaches out a hand to catch a falling teardrop from Yakumo’s cheek with his thumb. He crushes the teardrop like before, and lets the smaller particles float into the air.
“Because monsters don’t cry,” the knight says, and a smile graces his face.
Wherein Edmond is made of starlight, and Yakumo is born with a shard of darkness in his heart.

"Young master", Flins speaks up as if nothing strange is going on, as if there isn't a person seated right next to him that looks exactly like the fae. He gestures to the table, where two glasses of water are already waiting for Illuga to take them, "Please come in, you must be parched after such an arduous journey".
He is but... isn't there a more pressing matter at the time...?
A ley line disorder occurs and it is up to Illuga to handle the rather pleasurable consequences.
