“If it’s helping with your Byers crisis, then maybe it’ll help with mine,” Mike says offhandedly.
“Oh, the fact that in the last year of the Byers’ living with us, I can actually count the number of times I’ve seen you and Will talk to each other directly? And I heard from Steve that according to Dustin, you guys don’t even talk to each other when the four of you are hanging out. Not that this is my problem,” Nancy says. She takes the bottle back from Mike and takes a sip.
Mike can’t really blame her. When hearing his current relationship with Will spelled out like that, he’d probably want a drink too. Actually, wait. Mike waits for Nancy to finish her turn with the bottle and motions for her to hand it back to him. He takes a few more sips of the wine. Jeez, the taste doesn’t get better even after multiple sips.

“Tsu-chan,” Umemiya says for the third time in thirty seconds. They’re sitting on the roof, Tsubaki reapplying her makeup that had melted in the summer heat and Umemiya doing, well, nothing.
“Ume-chan, do not say that you’re bored again,” Tsubaki responds.
“I wasn’t going to say that,” Umemiya lies. Tsubaki stares at him from over her compact mirror. Umemiya locks eyes with her, unable to look away.
“What were you going to say?” She asks with a giggle.
Umemiya looks at her. He’d do anything to make her laugh, he thinks. He gets up, shrugs off his uniform shirt so he’s only wearing a tank top and says, “Spar with me?”

“Let me make it clear, Akira-you don’t know what you’re asking of me.” Akechi's voice is low and restrained like he’s on the verge of bursting through the cage of flesh where his Id lies underneath.
"I know what I'm asking." Akira’s eyes flicker as he closes the distance between them. "I'm asking to see all of you. Good and bad.”
Several emotions cross Akechi’s face at once; confusion, disbelief, doubt. They’re all new expressions to Akira, like nothing he’s seen before. It mesmerizes him. Akira grabs Akechi’s hand, and it’s all the push Akechi needs to crash his lips against his own.
The heat of Akechi’s lips sear back onto Akira’s mouth like a brand. It pierces past his skin, intoxicating and suffocating, as if he were prying Akira’s insides and melding him back together.
Shit. Akira will be lucky to make it through the night alive.
Akira once thought Goro Akechi was a pleasant boy.
He doesn't fuck like a pleasant boy.
