Vlad was practically breathing it in. His tongue could flick out and steal a taste with no effort. Matthias wouldn't miss just a sip.
Vlad is not permitted to drink Matthias’s — or any human’s — blood. But when he’s desperate enough, Mihaly will allow him to lick it.
