Fingernails dig in deep at the nape of his neck. There is a tremor to Lestat's grip that Louis knows all too well, but he doesn't stop. He presses the navel down with his tongue, the dip making more room for blood to collect and slurps up another shot, moaning in the back of his throat as he does so.
"Ungh!"
A sharp cry and a rigid jerk beneath him breaks Louis from his trance. He smells it before he sees it.
Lestat came.
In his pants, in front of the crowd, from Louis licking at his belly button.
After things gets a little heated at Lestat's album release party, Louis helps Lestat "clean up."

Lestat’s chest ached as he admired his light eyes and square jaw, dusted with stubble. He was surrounded by old newspapers and abandoned meals, trash gathering on every surface. Lestat had begun to suspect that Louis was building a pyre. If it were up to his darling depressive, they would both burn.
