Summary
Bakugou Katsuki (Age 24) has just returned from a war after 5 years of being gone and presumed dead after enemy capture. With the war finally over and a rushed rescue, he is finally able to make his way home to Musutafu. Now a shell of the person he used to be, drained from years of torture and barely holding on, he finds his feet leading him to the only person he ever cared about. His best friend Midoriya Izuku. At least one more look before he ends all the pain.

Bakugou and Midoriya (Age 23) were best friends growing up. That is until Izuku messed up and in a moment of drunken panic confessed his feelings to Katsuki on the eve of their graduation. Only to be met with anger and fists. He had hoped to apologize, to try and reason with him, and go back to being the friends they used to be. Instead the war claimed another victim and Izuku found himself heartbroken and friendless for a long time. Yet, he had to persevere and slowly moved on with his life a little at a time.
