Summary
What seems to be a routine witch-hunt in Colorado goes awry when a few days later, Castiel ends up burning up with a fever, huddled in bed and gasping for air. The brothers are faced with the dilemma of having to deal with Castiel's illness, as well as figure out the cause of it. The catch, however, is that Castiel was never cursed by the witch. It was Dean who had been hit with a spell. Upon calling Rowena, the brothers find out all the answers they need, but executing those answers may turn out to be a little more complicated than expected. At last, it is up to Dean to cure Castiel of the witch's curse.
And the cure? 24 hours of naked, physical contact.
Dean has a lot to face— including his underlying love for Castiel, his emotional turmoil, and a grumpy, feverish angel who has taken a liking to cuddling.

Castiel slips from his chair to kneel at Dean’s feet. He takes Dean’s hands in his, and there on the floor holding something with devotion, he understands Communion. He understands Eucharist. He understands believing in someone so deeply that to shelter a piece of them within yourself is an act of untempered faith, love and prayer and deep-wide trust.
