He’s frowning down at his shoes when a sleepy, beautiful, rumpled Shane Hollander pulls open the door. God, he’s so pretty, Ilya thinks. His hair is sticking out in all directions and there’s a pink line across his cheeks where he must have been laying on his own arm. He’s only in his boxers. He gives Ilya a very sweet little smirk.
“You know where the spare key is,” he mumbles, voice rough with sleep. “Why didn’t you just use that?”
Ilya shrugs and lists to the side a bit. “Forgot. Did I wake you, baby? I’m sorry,” he’s still slurring a bit, he knows. And the ‘baby’ is a dead giveaway that he’s drunk. He hardly ever uses that pet name. Can’t resist right now.

“You’re drunk,” Shane chuckles.

jungkook wasn’t an enigma. he was understandable, not some mythical boyfriend from the ether that hoseok could only hope to comprehend. he was so sweet and shy and charming and was so, so soft under all the black clothes and buckles and big stompy boots. he was also anxious, with occasional nightmares and more frequent stress attacks, and hoseok was all too happy to be the person jungkook called to talk him through it, or to just be a calm, loving voice on the other end of the line. jungkook’s bad days were heavily outweighed by the good, lately (not that hoseok would begrudge him if they weren’t, he’d care for his sweet boyf just the same if he had a bad days more often than not).
part of learning jungkook was sexual, which was just as fulfilling as learning about everything else.

jungkook was quiet as they walked to meet tae and jimin, stuffing his hands in his pockets instead of lacing their fingers together like usual. hoseok wasn’t worried, though - sometimes jungkook had different sensory needs, and he wasn’t about to get offended just because his boyfriend wanted to feel the inside of his fuzzy pockets. (hoseok knew they were fuzzy because the jacket was his, and the thought was enough to send a happy, possessive shiver down his spine.)
