    Naobito brings home a bride for the bachelors of the clan.

    "Bride,” Maki corrects sharply, and Megumi knows Maki hates how their clan runs and it’s only a matter of time before the older girl explodes. Megumi clears his throat, trying to defuse the tension between his cousins.

    "Who for?"

    Mai rolls her eyes, crossing her arms at the obvious question. "Obviously for the useless men in this house. Our family has too many unmarried men that the damn old man went and purchased a bride."

    Still, it didn’t make any sense to Megumi. They didn’t have to resort to buying a bride. Their family was powerful enough that any family would be begging to give up their daughter so for Naobito to resort to buying this bride meant…there’s something else here, something that Megumi couldn’t quite put his finger on.
