Summary
The moon asked the sun, “What do you know of love?”
“It burns,” said the sun. “It brightens. It is something you make and then give away.”
“Don’t listen to him,” said the clouds. “This big ball of gas doesn’t know what he’s talking about.”
“Yes, I do,” said the sun. “Who but me makes the roses grow?”
“We do,” said the clouds. “Love nourishes, like the rain. We turn the hills green and fill the creeks so they will sing in their creekbeds.”
“Why do you ask?” said the sun.
“I think I might be in love,” said the moon. “I am trying to understand.”

Summary
Reze leans into Makima’s side, cola staining her lips. When you said I wasn’t alone… Her voice is low. Hopeful.
Makima intertwines their fingers, squeezes her hand. You’re not alone, she says. I’ll be there, no matter what.
Are you a devil? Reze wants to ask. Should I be afraid of you? But she doesn’t, just lets a brittle laugh well up from deep inside her and puts her head on Makima’s shoulder as something stings her eyes.
The movie goes on.
Reze dies in a warehouse, clutching a dog. (Denji/Reze roleswap)Series

“It means you let me do awful things to you,” Tooru adds. “Isn’t that the same thing?”
“I don’t get what you’re saying,” he says plainly.
“You never do,” Tooru murmurs. His arms wind around Tobio and he pulls him tightly against his front. He holds Tobio like he is afraid of himself.

Summary
The meager audience falls silent, and it makes the crowd seem even smaller than it is. Yoshida. Denji doesn’t recognize the name; it’s somewhat surprising, considering that between the three Hayakawas, it sometimes feels like they’ve come into contact with every single person on this campus at least once. He flips through the file cabinet of his brain, tries desperately to yank out a document with a face or a major or any sort of information attached to it, but he comes up empty.
When Yoshida comes on the stage, all shaggy black hair and edgy piercings, dark eyes and teasing smirk, Denji realizes that he truly doesn’t know him after all. But immediately, he wants to.
He really, really wants to.
When Denji gets dragged to a student open mic night at the university, the last thing he expects is to fall for the tall, handsome guitar player onstage. He admires Yoshida from afar until eventually, his fanboy crush is elevated to something more.
