Summary
Coming to a decision, he steps closer, stooping down to wrap his arms around Jabber’s knees and lifting the raider in one swift motion, throwing him over his shoulder before he begins stalking off. Jabber makes a weird, indecipherable sound as he’s heaved upward, something that might have been an excited squeal.
“Whoa!” He yelps, flailing a bit as he tries to look at Zanka, despite the awkward positioning. “Where are you taking me, Zan-Zan?” He couldn’t sound more excited about this development if he tried, and the thought has Zanka snorting quietly to himself.
“Somewhere we can battle, obviously. I’m not fightin’ ya outside a’ cleaner HQ.”
“Why not? You afraid of havin’ a little audience? Or is it that you don’t want them to watch the way we fight?” The raider’s voice glides down Zanka’s spine, slow like syrup, and he says the word ‘fight’ as if it meant ‘fuck’, which promptly empties Zanka’s mind of nearly all its thoughts.
Or, five times Zanka picks up Jabber, and one time something comes of it.

Summary
When Riyo had found out that Zanka had a boyfriend, she'd done her best to be supportive.
She just didn't expect the guy to end up being Jabber fucking Wonger.
At least she wasn't the only one caught off guard. After some negotiations, Zanka is grounded, forbidden from seeing Jabber for a whole month. Which goes about as well as one would expect it too. Meaning that it'd failed horribly.
But that was the least of Riyo's worries. Really, her main concern was figuring out how to handle this whole thing- what she was supposed to do, how she was supposed to react, she had nothing. She was missing way too much information, and it was really starting to bug her. For one, she has no idea what Jabber's actual intentions are with all this. And how could she know, when there seemed to be such a big gap between the Jabber she knew of and the one that Zanka apparently knew?
So when Jabber randomly shows up at her window, asking for advice, Riyo sees it for the golden opportunity that it is.
She'd get her information, keeping her guard up the whole time, and be right back where she wanted to be. Easy.
(Spoiler Alert: It ends up being a bit more complicated than that.)

Summary
Zanka knew that carrying out a relationship with a Raider as a Cleaner would be complicated. He knew he'd have to be careful. More than careful. He'd have to be perfect- no matter what, no one could find out about the truth. Not when he knew what the consequences would be.
Naturally, he slips up anyways, accidentally mentioning Jabber's name at HQ, and it’s all over.
Except its not. Because there's good news and bad news.
The good news was that Zanka hadn't actually said Jabber's name. Instead, he'd said a nickname. A nickname that nobody knew referred to Jabber.
The bad news was that now all the Cleaners thought that Zanka had a girlfriend named Abby, and if he wanted to keep his job, his family, and his relationship with Jabber, he was going to have to keep up the charade.
What could go wrong?
(Spoiler Alert: Everything. Everything goes wrong.)
