“Eiji? What are you doing?”
A flash of black hair and pink cotton floods his vision, and Ash is pushed back. Flailing limbs shoot out to grip the frame of the door, Eiji’s surprised face coming into view when the dust clears.
“H-Hey! Don’t come in here—there are presents!”
Ash huffs in amusement, straightening himself out; his hands come to rest on his hips.
“Wasn’t I there when you bought them?” he asks.
“That doesn’t mean you saw them!” Eiji urges, looking miffed.
“Right. Of course I didn’t,” Ash replies sarcastically, unable to stop himself from teasing. Because he definitely saw everything.
