Summary
Tanjirou is a good boy who listens to advice from others around him. Such as how he should cherish the little time he has left with his father, and devote more to practicing their family's kagura so they could dance together from sunset to sunrise. Not all good advice come Tanjirou's way, even with the best intention. For example... when a travelling Shinto Priest told Tanjirou how to dance a 'kagura' for the Gods properly, receive the oracles and become the personification of God when he perform.
Years later when Tanjirou became demon slayer and resort to Hinokami Kagura, needless to say there are consequence more than just risking his lungs popping like a sad balloon or exhaustion.
Who is the 'Fire God' personified in the dance itself? No other than certain sun breather- and accumulated memory of your ancestor's that more than just a little helpful-

"Get lost!" Wei Wuxian hisses, eyes hollow. Lan Zhan silently shakes his head. Granny and Uncle Four run back and forth, packing away supplies as quickly as they can. They urge Lan Wangji to stand, wrapping spare scraps of cloth torn from clothing. They soon slide a silently crying A'Yuan into the makeshift carrier. He lay snug against his chest, sucking on his fingers and gripping his toy butterfly.

By the second day of their visit, Lan Zhan understands that Wei Ying has made a campaign of this. That Wei Ying believes - not without justification - that his brother and his husband-to-be must be handled if the project of family unity is ever to spread its fledgling wings. That he has decided - and this Lan Zhan thinks, to the extent that he can think like this, spread over Wei Ying’s lap and panting, is unfair - that the best way to handle Lan Zhan is to keep him worn out and sated and too hazy with recent or anticipated pleasure to bother needling Jiang Cheng.
In another better life, Wei Ying would have led armies of the living, and done it well. His strategies may be unorthodox but they’re rarely ineffective.
