Summary
Ten years after Izuku Midoriya and his classmates first walked through the halls of U.A, a new cadre of hero hopefuls is inspired to follow in the footsteps of the now-legendary Hell Class, the heroes of the Paranormal Liberation War. The former students of the Hell Class, meanwhile, are making steady progress helping Japan recover. Society is still in turmoil, but things are looking up at last.
But a new threat is on the horizon, as an enemy from within the Hell Class's own ranks sets her plans into motion and threatens to tear down the status quo for a second time. Some of the darkest secrets of the hero system are about to be exposed and its most basic tenets questioned, leading the next cadre of future heroes, and the world, to ask a question that fundamentally shakes the very idea of heroics.
Does the world really need heroes? Or do heroes exist to prevent everyone else from becoming strong enough to help themselves?

Summary
Team RWBY's first months at Beacon certainly weren't boring. Between Blake's history with the White Fang, the turmoil of Weiss's possession by the Nightmare, foiling Torchwick in Mountain Glenn, and fighting at the Breach, the girls had been busy from the jump.
But then, with everything momentarily resolved, the academy had a short break before the Vytal Festival, and nothing has been the same since. Their grades are plummeting, the team synergy they'd perfected has crumbled, and nobody is opening up about why.
There are only two months until the Vytal Tournament, and they have to get their act together. But none of them want to be the first to broach what's changed in each of them, and what has been started. After all, evidently the others each went through something far more important than they did. They've all clearly got enough on their own plates.
They don't need to know.
