He had held himself together fairly well as the other guards had taken out their anger on him, but now he found himself utterly lightheaded. He swayed forward unsteadily, and had to grab onto the prince's arms to keep from toppling into him.
"I'm sorry," he whispered; his voice seemed stolen from him. "F-forgive—"
"Quiet…" Prince Shouto said, and Izuku's voice truly left him. It belonged to the prince, now. "It's fine. I'm checking to make sure you weren't severely injured."
"I'm not—" Delicate, Izuku wanted to protest. But if he did… surely, the prince would move away again. Would stop touching him.
Izuku did not want that, at all.
