Summary
Perhaps it would've been better if the war had lasted long, strenuous years. It would've been better than accepting that Kira's chosen nation, Divi, had fallen so rapidly and sharply to the Soleil Nation. As it was, the so-called reincarnation of Kira himself, Light, was captured by the enemy, not without putting up a fight, of course. His magic was sealed away, as was his honor. The only thing standing between him and death is his hand, promised to the infamous tyrannical king of Soleil - L. The man himself, however, is almost nothing like the stories Light has heard of him. More than that, the man seems to be familiar with him - but Light can't possibly ascertain why. Forced to be a concubine in a nation that sees him and his people as nothing more than demons, the scum of the Earth, he'll have no choice but to depend on L.
(No rape/non-con between lawlight or misgendering on L's part. The referenced part refers to some of Light's fears.)
