The voice of her partner drew her from her thoughts. Hearing her maiden name; her name, leave his lips faintly quelled the anger boiling inside. Shinobu then remembered that this was, in fact, Tomioka. Everything with and about him is business, and the fact that he seemed unbothered by the circumstances inexplicably comforted her.
Why would he worry about it? There is no reason to be worried. This was only for the mission after all. It’s not like they actually did this out of love.
