Summary
The thing about it was, Eloise did like Cressida. She never would’ve seen it coming, another unexpected (yet welcome) twist to a year already bent all out of shape, but it was pleasant to spend the mornings with Cressida out and about in the fresh air, free from judgement and her prying siblings. Could anyone really blame her for wanting to keep that to herself?
Or, one thing leads to another, and Eloise gets a summer sleepover.

Summary
Eloise Bridgerton is trapped in an ice house with the most awful person in the world. The most awful person in the world isn't Napoleon, but the insufferable, vain, and extremely rude Cressida Cowper. Unfortunately, the confined space seems to be having a strange effect on both of them. Eloise can't really explain why what happens next happens next, but nor can she stop thinking about it.

Summary
If you had asked Eloise Bridgerton to name the thing she least wanted in all the world, it would be the thing she has now promised to do: escorting Cressida Cowper to the furthest extremity of the kingdom so she can be married to an old man utterly undeserving of her.

Summary
Their eyes met across the small body of water– Eloise's tinged with fear and Cressida’s with confusion.
“What are you doing?” Cressida called out over the sounds of rushing water and heavy winds.
“None of your damn business!” Eloise responded, before promptly losing her fight with her parasol and completely losing her balance as well. She tumbled down the sloped riverbank much to her abject horror.
What exactly happened over the summer that brought Eloise Bridgerton and Cressida Cowper so close together? Well, it all started with an ill timed fall into a small river.
