Summary
Aonung had barely let out a breath of sheer relief when Neteyam returned, to his dismay, with an armful of medicinal supplies. Clay jars spilled from the crook of his elbow and rolled across the ground. Amid frantic apologies, Neteyam set nothing less than half of the infirmary in the corner and chased after the errant jars. Aonung couldn’t believe it.
“What are you doing?” he asked. Neteyam grabbed a palm-sized ceramic jar of something, scrutinizing it. Aonung treated it like a silent threat.
“I’m, um—” Neteyam swept his gaze over the assorted jars and wraps and supporting sticks, frowning. “I don’t really know?”Or: Aonung doesn't know how to thank Neteyam, so he weaves him an absurd amount of flower crowns instead. His plan blows up in his face, but in a good way.
