Jayce wants to scream when Viktor presses on them, the pain bright and sharp, but it satisfies whatever question Viktor has, and he covers him back up.
Viktor pauses to enter Jayce’s vitals in the computer, and Jayce thinks now’s his moment. He’s been dying to ask Viktor for his number. He knows the stereotype of creepy old men hitting on nurses, but Jayce isn’t old, and what’s the worst that can happen?
“Viktor –”
But right as the words start to form, Viktor is standing up and collecting his things. “Have a nice breakfast, Jayce. You know where to find me if you need me.”

There’s been ups and downs- he wasn’t immune to society’s fatphobia more than anyone else- but overall, he feels like he’s been pretty lucky. His parents always encouraged him to be confident in himself, he wasn’t bullied in school, he had good friends. He couldn’t really complain, in the grand scheme of things.

"Actions and consequences, Viktor." Jayce sounds serious. Disappointed, even, a stark contrast to the panicked, floundering man from just a minute ago. "This was dangerous. I'm not letting this one go just like that."
His voice drifts closer and closer, and Viktor almost jumps out of his skin when he feels contact on his hip bone, the palm of Jayce's hand hot, seeping through the layer of his slacks.
Viktor gulps.
Despite Jayce's warning, Viktor finds himself stuck in a compromising position while trying to fix their prototype. Jayce takes it upon himself to teach Viktor a lesson in lab safety, and the importance of discipline.

But the public's trust is still shaken after the last explosive experiments and test subjects are hard to come by...perhaps a certain strapping scientist could volunteer to be human guinea pig for the newest medical hextech?
