Mandalorian courtship is a fairly straightforward process. Declaration of interest, expression of trust, introduction to clan, and then marriage. The whole process usually takes under a year. Usually. If the Galaxy wasn’t at war and both parties are aware they’re in a courtship.

Summary
Cody has always heard the whispers on the edges of his mind, the thoughts that flitter through the minds of his brothers which are never voiced aloud. The negativity of the Cuy'Val Dar, the anguish of the Prime, the childish wonder and fear of Boba, the arrogance of the Kaminiise. He learnt at a young age to block the whispers out, to ignore the thoughts, to help those he could in any way that he could without drawing attention to himself. The safety of others, after all, could only be ensured if Cody, himself, remained alive to ensure it.
Cody is telepathic, he always has been. But it turns out that while he can read other people's surface thoughts without really trying (a problem all of its own), he cannot read the minds of Force Sensitives. Somehow, this helps to save the galaxy
