The puffins chirp like a peanut gallery and Flins sort of just stares in his unnerving way he does sometimes when he forgets to act human.
"I adore Illuga, I would never hurt him so.'
"Then why did he come to ME for sex tips?"
"When?"
"Yesterday!"

At his wit’s end, Illuga turns to Grand Master Varka for relationship advice. Varka ends up getting far more entangled between Flins and Illuga than he predicted. Title is from A Midsummer Night's Dream by Shakespeare.

Summary

Sometimes, fate is in the little things: a child urging his father to compete in the Interdarshan Championship. A stubborn architect refusing to leave a note for his insufferable roommate.
No one is coming to save you, Kaveh tells himself, just to let it really sink in.
Kaveh is resigned to his fate after being taken captive by Eremites. Alhaitham has other things to say about it.

Flins sees the ghosts behind those pleading eyes, the shadows he tries to bathe in light, to pretend his lantern could drown them out rather than push them further into the corners of his mind. And he knows the stories, knows the haunted past that Illuga doesn’t like to talk about, the reason Flins’ answer matters.
He settles on a simple, yet vague truth.
“I am… not so easily killed,” he admits.
“If you’re lying to me,” Illuga says. “I will summon you from the grave and kill you myself.”
