Summary
The last time he had seen Suguru Geto was sixteen years ago at a KFC that was a ten minute walk from his childhood home. The meeting had been an out of the blue request, followed by a breakup that came out of nowhere. The resulting argument left Satoru feeling confused and hurt, while Suguru left with a look so empty and lifeless it still hurt to think about. In sixteen years, Satoru had assumed he’d gotten over the messy ending of his high school romance. He had assumed that should he ever run across Suguru again, he would remain unaffected and unbothered.
His assumptions are proven wrong, because the moment he realizes that Suguru is the man standing at the door, his mind blanks.Sixteen years after a messy breakup brought on by a plethora of miscommunications, Satoru Gojo reunites with his ex-boyfriend Suguru Geto during a parent teacher conference for one of his students.

Summary
The part of her that’s just a little curious about who the hell is outside wins over. So she trudges over to her front door, tying her damp hair into a low ponytail as she walks. Someone more cautious would check the keyhole before opening the door. She doesn’t.
“Hey, Shoko.”
Suguru Geto greets her so casually, as if the last time she had seen him wasn’t nearly five years ago in Shinjuku right after he committed mass murder.Some unexpected guests drop by Shoko's unannounced on a weeknight. Even in her time off, she can't seem to catch a break.

Summary
In the last month, there had been little done to take care of the greenhouse. The five years of neglect are apparent. Though some plants seem to have done fine on their own, there are plenty that are dead. Weeds and dead flora now fill the gardening space. Ashe recalls how there were supposedly rare, valuable plants kept here. He wonders if any of them are sprouting among the survivors. It’s a certainly sad sight, especially since Ashe remembered how beautiful this place looked in its prime.
There’s lots of work that will need to be done.
Ashe is put in charge of restoring the greenhouse, and works through his grief along the way. -

He’s surprised when Salem laughs at that — not a sheepish, shy one like the ones before, ones used to hide their embarrassment or discomfort. When they genuinely laugh, it’s louder since they aren’t trying to limit their volume and they can’t hold back a smile.
Their genuine laugh makes him grin. He wants to listen to it again and again.
“No.” They say it like it’s ridiculous for him to suggest, like he’s not known for his appetite and willingness to devour anything in sight. Like they hadn’t, at one point, been in danger because of one of his rampages.In which Beelzebub begins to piece together he has feelings for the human exchange student.

“I know you’re mad at him. And I don’t blame you, I’m mad too.” Raph was expecting this, now he was going to say that he should talk to Leo and forgive him, then to give him time to get used to being leader and not fight him over this. Except he didn't. So the snapper felt the need to ask.
“But…?”
“No ‘buts’ this time, I’m with you in this one. He went too far.” Raph chuckled under his breath, at least he had permission to yell now–
“Just please don’t yell at him?” Never mind. “It’ll just make Dee’s headache worse.”
Yeah, that made sense. So, for his brother’s sake, he’s not gonna yell at Leo.
“Okay, I won’t.”
For now.
Or
Leo and Raph start fighting again after the invasion and none of them are exactly ready to talk about it. That is until Leo learns something about the other timeline.

Leo waited. His leg was growing painfully numb under the ice. He wanted to rip the pack off and heave it across the room where it could shatter on the floor. Instead, he forced himself to stay quiet as he watched everyone disperse on their assignments, feeling his heartbeat inexplicably rise in his chest until he finally couldn’t stand it anymore.
“And me?” Leo looked to Splinter. “I know portaling is kinda off the table right now, but, you know, plans are still kinda my thing. Just give me a minute—an hour max—and I know I can come up with a place for us to stay...” Leo’s voice faded as Splinter placed a warm pink hand on top of his own, making it lay still.
“Do not worry, my baby blue.” He said, giving the back of his hand a pat, a soft smile reaching his furry face. “I know exactly where we will go.”

Leo knew losing an arm would be a hard change. He just didn’t know exactly how many changes he'd have to deal with. Turns out that narrowly avoiding the Krang apocalypse doesn't mean everything goes back to normal.
(Or my traumatized turtle boys spend some time recovering in the countryside because the author was listening to Noah Kahan’s Stick Season album A LOT)
