Renjun puts an arm around Jeno’s shoulders and squeezes. “Jisung is so lucky to have you. You’re a great father. But, you’re also a hopelessly romantic twenty-three year old who wants to find love. It’s okay to be both.”
Donghyuck places a comforting hand on Jeno’s knee. “Renjun’s right. Being the best father to Jisung and finding happiness for yourself aren’t mutually exclusive.”
“I’m happy with how my life is right now,” Jeno argues. “I don’t need a boyfriend.”
“Maybe not,” says Renjun. “But you could always be a little happier.”

The priest, Jeongin, has a kind smile. His eyes crinkle at the corners, sparkling even in the dim light.
“Are you part of our congregation?”
“Oh, no,” Seungmin shakes his head, “No, it’s my first time here, actually.”
It makes Jeongin laugh, and Seungmin can’t help but smile at it, “Your first time on a Wednesday night? Why not come to a Sunday service?”
“I’m not really religious, to be honest.”
“So why come to Church at all?”
Seungmin considers the question. “I don’t really know. I just kind of… ended up here.”

“Let’s get a house like this,” Jeongin breathes, warm breath against Seungmin’s neck.
“In Orlando?”
“There’s probably something like this in Korea, don’t you think?”
“Gangwon?”
“Too many mountains. Something flatter. Gyeongsang, maybe. In the north.”
He can picture it with startling clarity, a small country house, trees and grass and dirt just like this. Same, but opposite. Different ends of the world, but Jeongin is still there. Still with him.
It calms the rabbit thump of his heart. The tour will end and Jeongin will still be here. Even if somehow nothing else is.
