She smooths down her skirt as she steps out into the twilight, only to smell something foul on the air, and it’s not the dead boar slung over the back of Gregor’s saddle. He isn’t in the saddle. He’s being dragged across the loose dirt of the yard by four of his men, and even they are faltering to move him. Gored, she realizes. She can smell his intestines from here.
