Summary
Namjoon needed money, first and foremost. Then, hopefully, a satisfying education. He resolves not to think about the other things he may need, like love or connection or whatever. Due to a distinct lack all of those things, except maybe the education if this plan worked out, Namjoon also has no reservations walking into a lonely, remote Italian village, far from his university in Rome, to pick up a well-paying job cleaning an odd mansion, unknowing of the tragic past that it carries.

Namjoon takes the 500ml pepsi bottle from Yoongi's hand like it's made of diamonds, precious. He didn't know he was so thirsty and desperate until he saw it, held it in his hand. He swears he’s almost drooling. "Oh, the things I could do to this bottle."
"Why don't you then?"
He runs the cold plastic over his face and neck, his eyes closed in uncontained bliss. He's almost deliriously hot, with sweat dripping from his hair. He barely registers Yoongi’s words at first. "What?"
Here, they’re hidden behind the shade of the car. There’s an intimate quiet between them. And Yoongi smirks. "Hey Joon-ah. Remember last week when I let you pass on a dare if you would pick it back up later? You still owe me. Wanna follow through?"
OR
Yoongi dares Namjoon to fuck himself with a pepsi bottle whilst they’re waiting for Seokjin to come and fix their broken car. And Namjoon is no quitter.
