    It's only been a couple months since the Snap; since Thanos was finally defeated once and for all. Everyone is trying to put the pieces of their life back together, including Peter Parker.

    He's starting to learn how to live again with the help of his mentor, Tony Stark, and his newfound little sister Morgan. Things are starting to look up.

    Until suddenly, everything changes.

    Him and Morgan have been kidnapped, and they have to fight to stay alive while Tony desperately tries save his kids.

    Peter Parker knows that Tony Stark is his father. He knows and hates him for it. With nowhere left to go, Peter goes to Stark Tower to inform Mr. Stark that he’s Peter’s father but is thrown out of the tower by security without seeing Tony. Peter Parker needs help. Who is this kid that showed up at the tower? Tony needs answers. What does he know about raising a kid? How the hell is he supposed to help a son he just discovered he had sort through trauma when Tony’s been stuffing his own stress and trauma down for years? Tony knows one thing for certain: he doesn’t want Peter to grow up to be like him… to stuff all of the crap he’s been through down and end up pushing everyone around him away. Well shit… that means Tony will have to lead by example.

    Peter has been through a lot. He’s been through the kind of things that change a person. He’s bitter and sarcastic. Peter has to find his way back to who he once was with the help of a man he’s known about his entire life, but has never known.

    “Pepper would be able to do it,” Tony said tonelessly, his eyes following the movement of the nail rotating between his thumb and forefinger. He hated how his voice still wavered when he said her name.

    “Tony, I know,” said Rhodey, his tone soft. “We’ve all lost people, everyone has-”

    “Don’t you think I know that?” Tony said angrily, yanking his wrist out of Rhodey’s grasp. He pulled back, but Rhodey lurched forward and grabbed his upper arms in a harsh grip, shaking him once.

    “Damn it, Tony, this isn’t about winning the world’s best parent award,” Rhodey snapped. “There are millions of kids out there, millions, who’ve lost their parents and have nowhere to go.”

    He caught Tony’s eye.

    “That’s something you can do, Tony, give a kid a place to go.”

    Seven-some months after the Snap, the world is still reeling from its loss. The city is overrun with countless orphaned children, so anyone even remotely capable of housing a kid is asked to pitch in. Tony can hardly say no, but when he stares down at the scrawny, wide-eyed fourteen-year-old looking up at him in the entrance of the lab, Tony has never been more out of his depth.

    Five times Peter doesn't think Tony would want to know about his trauma.
    Each chapter will be a different problem Peter tries to face on his own: panic attacks/flashbacks, bullying, physical injury, etc. There will be underlying themes of sexual assault aftermath throughout, so please be careful reading. This will be a sensitive and realistic portrayal of the effects of SA trauma with no explicit scenes. I will handle this with care! But please read with care, too.

    One time Peter realizes he 100% trusts Tony. I adore this chapter so much.

    Plus at least another chapter of pure healing and love, so I'm going to set this as a 7 chapter fic!
