    In a mystical world where magic, dragons, witches, and dragon witches exist, soulmates bear words on their skin that they've heard used to describe them until they touch one another. If the soulbound have magic or other abilities of their own, they do not come into their full power until after meeting their soulmate.

    Virgil, the son of a navy captain, is expected to be perfect, and to do so, must hide the array of words adorning his skin. The fact that they appear in five different colors is quite distressing, and his father would surely hate him if he knew about them.

    Across the ocean, a pirate ship named The Arcane Queen, manned by five already very powerful lovers, is hunting for their last remaining soulbound. They are known as The Legion, feared by humanity and mystical creatures alike as they scour the oceans for any news or trace of their missing piece.

    After all, the purple words that appear on their skin are quite concerning.

    The sky was dark down in the Subconscious. It was dark and lonely and a really quite vertigo-inducing. So all-in-all, it wasn't really that bad. Except for the floating. Yeah, the floating kinda sucked.
