"Why did the coach tell me you'd quit? Why is it that when I get to the gym you're not there waiting for me? Why do I see that bastard Heesung in front of my building? Are you going to run away with him? You sold yourself to him too-".
"SHUT UP!" screamed Dan, silencing Jaekyung. The apartment hall fell silent.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" screamed Jaekyung back, approaching Dan with his fists closed.
"I told you to shut the hell of your mouth!" repeated Dan, with a firm stance, even though inside he was afraid that Jaekyung was going to beat him up.
"Kim Dan... you want to die, don't you? You're mine, my possession, I BOUGHT YOU, you're mine by right-"
"I AM NOT YOURS!" screamed Dan, losing his temper. "I belong to ME! I am not an OBJECT! I am HUMAN and I don't deserve to be treated the way you treat me, to be humiliated, to be exposed against my will, to feel like I'm being held hostage by you. I'M TIRED! I don't want to see you anymore, or be here for a second, don't look for me!"
It happens after chapter 34. Heesung told Dan about what Jaekyung did. Kim Dan is very sad and angry, so he leaves Jaekyung.

Summary
O tráfego carregado no caminho para a casa do ator, os gemidos doces de Kim Dan e a vibração do brinquedo sexual tornam-se distrações fracas para o crescente desespero do lutador. Esquece-se nessa agonia psicológica do contrato, das dívidas pagas e da dedicação do doutor para com ele. Teme a separação e a partida de Kim Dan. A insegurança o faz enxergar a obrigatoriedade do fisioterapeuta como uma tentativa consciente de escapar dele, esquecendo-se do quão entrelaçados os dois se tornaram, agindo com raiva irracional, mas novamente a única que conhece.
Insegurança, medo, raiva, resignação e desligamento. E novamente o ciclo se repete.

Nie Mingjue slides open the door to his rooms, and steps inside. He stops short in his shock.
In front of him stands Meng Yao.
Meng-fushi, specifically, his glossy hair pulled back in Nie braids denoting his rank, and his hands smoothing down his pale purple robes, accented with brown stripes and a subtle geometric pattern that marks them as Nie, as he twists to admire them in Nie Mingjue’s mirror. Meng-fushi had cinched the thick robes tight around his waist with a brown leather belt, but he’d taken that with him when he’d left Qinghe, so today Jin Guangyao has made do with just a light sash.

Guangyao said if they get out alive, don’t tell Xichen.
He doesn’t believe they’ll make it. Guangyao is legitimately concerned that they might be trapped and die before they can escape. Probably, that’s why he’s allowed so much emotion to slip through his usual mask in the last few hours: if they die, who’s to find out that anything besides banal pleasantry exists inside his vicious trap of a mind?
Well, Mingjue knows. He’s always known. And by gods, they are going to make it out of this, even if it’s just to increase that chances of him one day getting the opportunity to punch Jin Guangshan in his stupid, smug, smarmy face. Nothing as pathetic as certain death is going to get in the way of him getting that satisfaction.
