Summary
In order to hasten the connection between Scaramouche and the Mechanical Vessel, the Doctor recruits the Enigmatic Mechanist, Faruzan.
As Faruzan sees herself with little option but to feign compliance and submit herself to the project, she slowly untangles the horrid connection beneath the Harbingers' masks. All while trying to survive the whims of a very bored Scaramouche, who is hellbent on demonstrating her mortal weaknesses. And to make her realise that all Gods, including him, need a prophet to spread his wisdom.
Will Faruzan be able to stop the project? Or will Scaramouche tame her spirit long before that?

People keep coming up to Kaveh to congratulate him. Kaveh doesn’t really know why, and he’s a little too scared to ask at this point, so he heads back home, content if not a little bemused.
He is, unfortunately, reminded of it the very next day, when the door slams open and Al-Haitham stalks in. “Mind telling me why everyone was congratulating me today?” he demands. “About your pregnancy?"
Or: Al-Haitham is, without a doubt, the most annoying person Kaveh knows. Maybe the world’s second-most annoying person can help Kaveh figure him out.
