Summary
Listen, Bruce Wayne was great at the whole secret identity thing. Or he had been until all the Robins started popping up. There's only so many coincidences that the people of Gotham can ignore until it clicks. And when child after child started popping up in Wayne manor, and a matching child popped out from Batman's cape, there was no denying it anymore. So yes, Gotham knew that Batman was Brucie, who was also Bruce Wayne. But if the only thing that kept that man sane was dressing up in a bat costume and protecting the city then who were they to stop him?
And so the game began. Everyone knew Batman's identity (except the black haired, blue eyed kids although even that backfired eventually) and Gotham would do everything to protect Bruce from the knowledge that yes, the entire city did actually know what he got up to in his free time.
Shenanigans ensue.

Everyone also found the briefcase that sat at the bottom of Klaus's bed strange, but it was simply one of the many oddities of Klaus to the 173rd Airborne Division. They were willing to look past his...eccentricities for the sake of a friend.
Or: Klaus raises an army of the dead in Vietnam and is generally an icon who deserves better.

Summary
The Avatar had only ever been a symbol of peace, always content with what they had achieved so long as they had the ability to protect those they loved. They had no wish for things they did not need, this had been true since the beginning of time.
Avatar Korra broke that cycle, the power going to her head, before she realised it would be her downfall.

He finds her on Friday, the 18th of November, 1983. She's a small kid, out in the woods and the freezing cold, the first time he's ever seen a girl with hair that short. His parents are leaving for some business trip in the morning. He is going to be alone.
She's alone.
Steve hates the idea of another kid growing up alone.(In which Steve finds Eleven in the winter of ‘83, before Hopper could, and the sudden changes that pull apart his life. Some are far deeper in the bones than he ever could've imagined.)

Summary
Pro Hero Bakugou Katsuki is on his way... to the bottom. His ratings suck, his reputation sucks, and even his agency has it out for him. Katsuki can see rock-bottom coming, but he can do nothing but brace for the inevitable, painful impact.
Meanwhile, Midoriya Izuku hit rock bottom months ago. He's pulling himself back to his feet, working shitty jobs with shitty pay and just doing his best to eat most days. At least he's not in debt anymore, though. At least he has a roof over his head.
On Katsuki's way down and on Izuku's way up, they catch each other.

Or, after five years apart, Katsuki and Izuku meet again under equally humbling circumstances. Things improve from there.
