Summary
Six months after the rooftop trap that nearly killed him, Clint Barton has officially joined the crew. Zemo’s financial scam operation has collapsed, but the peace that follows doesn’t last long.
A new investigation pulls the team into the path of an illegal arms trafficking ring tied to a company Tony Stark thought was gone for good. Then someone from the crew’s past returns, reopening old wounds and bringing tension that threatens to fracture the team from the inside.
When Clint agrees to go undercover, it puts more than the mission at risk. It tests his place on the team, his growing relationship with Bucky Barnes, and the trust holding the crew together.

“It’s he Scot he wants,” one said to another. The other made his ignorance of accents known before the first started describing Johnny.
Why Johnny? Ghost thought, listening to average markers like “shorter” and “mohawk” before the guy got to Johnny’s “fine little ass” that Graves “wanted to take a bite out of.”
The rest of the night was filled with hot, selfish fury, whiting out during kills and keeping constant tabs on Johnny. He led them toward the church, toward a perch, somewhere he knew he’d be able to take control of the situation, get Johnny out.
He almost made it to the church steps. He heard Johnny calling his name before the bastards drove Soap back. Ghost was pinned on his back when he roared for Johnny to take a vehicle and get out.

“Fuck.” Shane melted into the strong hand at his neck, the pressure over his throat and the heat of the Alpha’s palm. “Fuck, that’s–” his eyes started to flutter closed, his knees going weak, but he heard the Alpha huff a laugh and immediately stiffened again.
“Don’t do that.” he warned. “Don’t laugh like me letting you put your hand on my throat is predictable submissive Omega behavior and you're making fun of me."
“That is not why i was laughing.” Ilya squeezed Shane’s throat lightly, his thumb pressing over the suppressant patch covering the Omega's bonding spot and blocking his sweet scent. “I thought you would fight it, fight submitting. But you didn’t.”
“No I–” Shane swallowed hard. “I like it.”
“Good.” Ilya smiled slow and a little dangerous, running his tongue over his bottom lip and then over the sharp ends of his fangs before he leaned in and growled into the Omega’s ear. “Now get on your knees.”
