Javi's voice has been in Travis's head since Travis ate his fucking heart, but it takes Shauna hooking up with Melissa for him to realize that Jackie has been in his head this whole time, too.
Because Travis is not jealous, because why the fuck would he care, but the feeling in his chest is undeniable. He hates Melissa, hates her stupid face and stupid backwards hat, and when Travis thinks this isn't fair, you know, I was the first girl she kissed, that thought rolls around confusingly in his mind for a few seconds before he says, out loud, "Huh."

The Devils score first, blasting a shot past Detroit's goalie, and Jackie's hand grabs Shauna's thigh as her other hand makes a fist and pumps it in the air. "Oh, fuck yeah!" Jackie shouts, as Shauna jerks her leg away.
Shauna does not see Van observe this and raise an eyebrow. She's looking at the TV, listening to the broadcast announcer credit Stéphane Richer with the goal. "Why are they all French Canadian?" she asks out loud.
"Dude, that's, like, where they grow hockey players," Van says. "Every team is actually Montreal."
