    Aegon gets bored during family dinner and uses Jace for distraction.
    "You know, Jace, you're right," he said. "I'll try to get through this night too. However..." He turned to him, resting one arm on the back of the chair as his left hand disappeared under the table to rest between his legs. Jace shuddered. He tried to evade his touch, but Aegon managed to stop him from moving. "I'm going to need your help to pull this off."
    "Aegon." A whispered, nervous warning escaped his lips. His eyes darted along the table to check what those present were doing. Each was engrossed in their own personal conversations, and the only places they could clearly see what was happening posed no danger – Helaena was too lost in her own world to attend to them and Baela was absent due to indisposition.
