Ford glared at the softly glowing, triangular Pyrite that floated in front of him. He knew they had to cooperate until they found a way out of this cave-system, but that didn't mean he had to enjoy his time with the Off-Color. Even if Bill was a bit funny... And more than a bit charming... And his laugh was almost musical... It didn't matter! Ford had a mission - and he was determined to see it through.
Ford is a Moonstone, Bill is an Off-Color Pyrite, and the story of how they became something more than the sum of their parts.

There are very few things in the multiverse that can truly scare Bill Cipher. He’s been around far longer than nearly all the inhabitants of it, and he’s so powerful the mere concept of him as a being would make the more inferior one’s brains implode. So, there’s not much that can put the fear of Axolotl in him.
Today, however, he found one of the exceptions.
Because today, Stanford Filbrick Pines had a brain aneurism rupture.
And Bill isn’t entirely certain he’s ever going to wake up again.
And that fucking terrifies Bill.

Or: the Dark Urge rolls a 20 on his Insight check when Orin tries to kill him, but doesn't escape unscathed and limps back to Gortash to lick his wounds.
